The Hunger Project Australia had a powerful mission, but their website wasn’t clearly communicating who they are, what they do, and the real-world impact they create. Key messages were getting lost, and supporters weren’t being guided confidently through the journey from learning → trusting → donating.

A major priority was improving the donation pathway and increasing conversions. They needed a website experience that made the mission easier to understand, the impact easier to feel, and the “why donate” moment much clearer especially for first-time visitors.

We began by simplifying the narrative and restructuring content to put clarity first: who they are, what makes their approach unique, and how donor support translates into measurable change. From there, we redesigned key pages to improve hierarchy, readability, and flow, making it easier for visitors to connect emotionally and quickly understand the organisation’s purpose.

We then rebuilt the user journey around conversion: stronger calls-to-action, cleaner pathways into donation content, and a smoother, more confident donation experience. Behind the scenes, we ensured the CMS and page structures were easy for the internal team to manage, so campaigns and impact updates could be published quickly without needing ongoing development support.

The refreshed website now tells The Hunger Project Australia story with far greater clarity making their mission and impact easier to understand at a glance. Supporters are guided through a more intentional journey that builds trust and encourages action, with donation pathways that are more prominent and easier to complete.

Overall, the site is better positioned to support fundraising goals, campaign activity, and ongoing storytelling helping turn awareness into meaningful donor support.
